Description & Details
DatamedFT™ - Our flagship product and the bridge which will enable your insitution to expand the use of all your cardiology equipment beyond the limitations of one vendor.

DatamedFT™ is the EKG translation engine that allows best-of-breed buying in all cardiology venues and extends the life of cardiology equipment thus saving valuable healthcare funds. A networked software product that easily interfaces into your facilities existing infrastructure to provide communication among cardiology devices that are not normally compatible to each other.

 DatamedWorklist™
DatamedWorklist™
Adding cross-vendor compatibility to a single-vendor solution.
Current Version: 1.0.0
DatamedWorklist™ is the newest addition to the DATAMED® product line and introduces exciting capabilities. Combined with the DatamedFT™ format translator this product will give customers the ability to query for orders, record the EKGs, and then send them to the management/storage system to close out the orders. This fully integrated workflow is an important part of a single-vendor solution, but cross-vendor compatibility has been very limited. Now workflow integration doesn't mean being locked out of equipment choices.

Installed with DatamedFT™, the software runs as a service level application and may be installed on the EKG Management System's host server, an enterprise application server, or a standalone computer/virtual machine (FTPC). DatamedWorklist™ is a two-way system that acts as the native management system for the source devices, and as a native source device for the management systems. Use the links provided to learn more about DatamedWorklist™.

 DatamedRcv™ EKG Receiver Modules
DatamedRcv™ EKG Receiver Modules provide protocol specific acquisition mechanisms for devices that may not have other means of communication to host systems. Receiver Modules run as system services that monitor hardware specific for the desired protocol. EKG files are written to the DatamedFT™ service will translate to the appropriate destination format. Depending on the desired service, additional hardware and/or setup may be necessary. Use the links provided for each DatamedRcv™ EKG Receiver Modules to learn more of how DatamedFT™ and our line of receiver Modules can expand your cardiology frontier.
DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV01
For GE® / Marquette® cardiographs and ZOLL® defibrillators
Current Version: 1.4.0
DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV01 is a Receiver Module runs as a system service and will monitor one or more serial ports and/or a TCP/IP port for connections from cardiographs and monitors that transmit using the CSI protocol. These devices typically either do not have an alternative method for transmitting the EKGs or it is difficult to accomplish. Once an EKG transmission is received, a file is written which the DatamedFT™ service will translate to the appropriate destination format.
DatamedRcv™ Model DRCV01 is produced by Datamed LLC/Engineering Solutions, Inc. and is not endorsed, approved, sponsored, or affiliated with GE Medical Systems Information Technologies, Inc.
DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV02
For Philips® PageWriter® Touch/Trim/TC cardiographs
Current Version: 1.1.0
DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV02 runs as a dedicated TCP/IP listener service and will monitor a TCP/IP port for incoming connections from Philips® PageWriter® Touch, PageWriter® Trim and PageWriter® TC cardiographs eliminating the need for using Apache or IIS webservers. Once an EKG transmission is received by the receiver service, a file is written which the DatamedFT™ service will translate to the appropriate destination format. DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV02 can handle incoming requests from multiple supported cardiographs simultaneously to simplify and expand reception from PageWriter® Touch, PageWriter® Trim and PageWriter® TC cardiographs.
DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV03
For HP® XLi cardiographs
Current Version: 2.0.4
DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV03 runs as a system service and will monitor a serial port or modem for connections from Philips/HP® M1700 Family cardiographs. These devices have a serial port and may or may not have a floppy drive. Once an EKG transmission is received by the DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV03 service, a file is written which the DatamedFT™ service will translate to the appropriate destination format.
DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV05 Current Version: 1.0.0
DatamedRcv™ Module DRCV05 listens on a TCP/IP network port for an incoming connection, then receives the data and writes it to a file. There is no upper-level protocol or handshaking, just a simple network transmission. Configuration options will specify the IP address and port, the folder to write files to, and a file extension.

 DatamedSnd™ EKG Transmitter Modules
DatamedSnd™ EKG Transmitter Modules provide protocol specific transmission mechanisms for host systems that may not have any other method of sending a particular file format. Transmitter Modules run as system services that monitor a folder for translated files and sends the files using the appropriate protocol. Use the links below to learn more of our DatamedSnd™ line of protocol specific transmitters.
DatamedSnd™ Module DSND01
For DICOM® files written by DatamedFT™ into a DICOM® PACS or storage system.
Current Version: 1.0.0
DatamedSnd™ Module DSND01 is a Transmitter Module which runs as a system service and that monitor a folder for translated files and sends the files using the appropriate protocol.

DatamedSnd™ Module DSND01 formats the files into a DICOM® compatible format and forwards those files over LAN connections to a DICOM® PACS or other DICOM® based storage system. This transmitter module provides the capability of non-DICOM® EKG Management systems to forward EKG data.

 Hardware
SDLC Receiver Module
(For legacy Marquette® cardiographs using the SDLC protocol)

SDLC Receiver Module runs as a system service on a PC equipped with a RoHS compliant PCI card providing single or multiple connections to one or more external Motorola 2860 SDLC Modems to receive EKGs from cardiographs that transmit using the SDLC protocol. Once an EKG transmission is received by the SDLC Receiver Module service, a file is written which the DatamedFT™ service will translate to the appropriate destination format. SDLC Receiver Module can handle multiple SDLC receiving channels to a single PC enabling multiple telephones lines to be handled simultaneously.

The SDLC Receiver Module is distributed by ESI as a kit containing an RoHS compliant serial interface PCI board, Motorola SDLC Modem and appropriate software which may be installed in any compatible PC.
